four folios or double pages, was presented by the Reverend John Tomkins,
Minister of the Wesleyan Methodist Congregation in the Circuit of
Clarenceville, to serve as a Register for the acts of Baptism, Marriages and
Burials to be performed by him and his successors in the aforesaid Circuit of
Clarenceville, for the year of Our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty
seven; and was this day paraphed by the Seal of the Court and the signature of
the Honourable James Smith, one of the Judges of the Superior Court for Lower
Canada.

This book contains twenty four
folios or double pages was presented by the Reverend Rufus Arlington Flanders
Minister of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, in the Circuit of Clarenceville,
District of Bedford, to serve as a register for the acts of baptisms, marriages
and burials to be performed by him and his successors in the aforesaid circuit
of Clarenceville for the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty
one and was this day verified by me the undersigned Deputy Prothonotary of the
Superior Court for the District of Bedford, pursuant to the laws in such case
made and provided.
