This book containing twenty four folios or double pages was this day presented by the Reverend William J Halse,  Church of the Second Day Advent at Sutton Flatts, in the Township of Sutton in the District of Bedford to use as a Register of the Acts of Baptisms Marriages and Burials,  to be by him performed or his Successor in office in the said Church during the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine only, and was this day paraphed by *snd* the undersigned Prothontary of the Superior Court of Lower Canada for the District of Bedford and authenticated with the Seal of the said Courts
Done at the Court House at Sweetsburgh in said District on this Second day of January eighteen hundred and seventy nine

Halse Minister of the Second Advent Church at Sutton Flatts in the Township of Sutton for the registration of baptisms, marriages and burials presided by him, his successors or other ministers duly qualified.
The said Permanent Register covers the period of 18 March 1879 to 15 August 1923, is in the legal possession of the minister of the Baptist Church of Sutton, Que who presented it to the Prothontary of Bedford to make copies, view l’obsence to the archives of this district of the most part …open of Podite Congregation
