Beede Clerk of the Monthly Meeting of Friends at East Farnham in the District of Bedford to use as a Regisster of Births Marriages and Burials to be by him and his successors in office performed during the current year one thousand eight hundred and sixty one and was duly paraphed by the undersigned Prothonotary for the District of Bedford of the Superior Court for Lower Canada according to the law in each case made and provided.  Done at Nelsonville this firsts day of May one thousand eight hundred and ssixty one.  Frederick T. William Stevens, Son of the late Seneca Stevens and Sarah Knowles his wife, both deceased, of the Township of East Farnham, in the County of Brome, District of Bedford and Province of Canada, yeoman and bachelor, and Kezia Jewell, daughter of Henry Jewell and Cynthia Beede his wife the latter deceased, of the said Township of East Farnham, Spinster, both having attained the age of majority, having laid their proposal of marriage with each other before Farnham Monthly Meeting of Friends and having received the assent of that body and having consent of surviving parents, were married according to the order and rites of the Society of Friends, in a public meeting of said Society held at East Farnham

Henry Welch, of the Township of East Farnham, in the District of Bedford, Yeoman, was buried according to the rites and usages of the Society of Friends in Friends’ Burial Ground at East Farnham aforesaid on
the twenty ninth day (29) of the Ninth Month (September) in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-one (1861), he the said Henry Welch, having deceased on the twenty sixth day of the ninth month aforesaid, at East Farnham aforesaid, aged seventy two years.

Stevens having deceased on the twentieth (20) day of the Eighth month aforesaid, at East Farnham aforesaid. Aged Fifteen years.

Death and Burial of Abby Hawkins wife of John Bull.  Aged twenty two years.  Daughter of Robert Hawkins and  Sara Ann *Brown* his wife,-late of the Township of Brome & County of Brome, district of Bedford, Province of Quebec, Canada. Her death occured on the eighteenth day burial on the twentieth day of the fifth month (May) one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Seven, (1877) at East Farnham their late residence, in the district and province aforesaid. The Funeral  conducted according to the order and usages of the  Religious Society of Friends.
