3 Folio one This book containing twenty two folios or double pages was this day presented by the Reverend Samuel S. Davis minister of the Universalist Church. Abercorn on the District of Medford to serve as a register of the acts of baptism, marriages and burrials to be by him performed or his successors in office in the paid church during the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight only, and was this day paraphed* by me the undersigned Deputy [unk] notary of the Superior Court for lower Canada, in the district of Medford and authenticated with the leaf of the said Court. Done at the Court Course at Sweetsburg in said district of Medford, this twenty fifth day of February eighteen hundred twenty eight L. D. Goodwin D. P. S. C.

 4 Folio two Ira Benham Burial died on Saturday the 25 day of May One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Eight Ira Benham of the Township of Farnham in the County of Brome in the Province of Quebec farmer – aged eighty one years one month and seven days, and was this twenty seventh day of May aforesaid buried by me in the presence of the subscribing witnesses. 5 Folio three Sidney Jenne Burial Died on the fourteenth day of June One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Eight Sidney Jenne of the Township of Sutton in the County of Brom and Province of Quebec, farmer, aged seventy one years, and was this sixteenth day of June buried by me in presence of the subscribing witnesses. 6 Folio four Frank Earnest Smith Burial Died on the twenty-sixth day of July One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy-Eight, Frank Earnest Smith of the township of Sutton and County of Brome and Province of Quebec infant son of Abram Nelson Smith and Judith Seovill his wife, aged one year nine months and sixteen days and was this twenty eighth day of July aforesaid buried by me in the presence of the subscribing witnesses. One Thousand Eight Hundred and seventy eight Edwin B Macey of the parish of St. Armand East, County of Missisquoi and Prov Quebec – farmer – son of Samuel Macey and Jane Minerva Vaughn his wife, and Ruby A Shephard of the same place – spinster – daughter of Thomas J Shephard and Jenisice Jenne his wife, the same contracting parties, being of full age were by authority of license joined in bonds of Holy Matrimony in the presence of the subscribing witnesses by me S. Davis minister of the Universalist Church, Abercorn in the District of Bedford, to serve as a Register of the Acts of Baptism, Marriage and Burials to be by him performed or his successors in office, in the said church, during the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine only, and was, this day, paraphed* by one the undersigned Prothinatory* of the Superior Court for Lower Canada in the District of Bedford and authenticated with the seal of the said Court.
